Pend Oreille County Public Utility District is seeking a Customer Service Representative I and a Customer Service Representative II for our Newport location. These positions perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the needs of the District’s customers are met, including establishing line extensions and billing

Qualified Candidates Must Have

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills related to customer, staff and vendor interactions

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and/or billing/accounting software

  • Ten key and typing skills (45 wpm minimum)

  • Solid basic math skills

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service setting
