Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County is seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative for our Newport location. The position performs a variety of tasks to ensure that District customer needs are met, including establishing line extensions and billing.

Qualified Candidates Must Have

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills related to customer, staff and vendor interactions.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and/or billing/accounting software.

  • Ten key and typing skills (45 wpm minimum).

  • Solid basic math skills.

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service setting.
