NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m., November 4, 2025, for the Pend Oreille County Public Utility District Board of Commissioners to review and discuss the District’s Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP).
The CEIP outlines how the PUD will continue to meet state clean energy requirements under the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) while maintaining a continued focus on providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to customers. The hearing will be held in the Newport Conference Room, Pend Oreille County PUD, 130 N. Washington, Newport, Washington. The public is invited to attend and be heard. The PUD’s Board Meetings are held virtually via Microsoft Teams as well as in-person in Newport or at Box Canyon.

The Board of Commissioners typically meet at 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month in Newport and at 8:30 a.m. on any fifth Tuesday of the month at Box Canyon Dam.
