Introducing the PUD’s HOPE Program – An Income Qualified Energy Efficiency Initiative - Available Starting May 2026
The HOPE Program (Helping Out Pend Oreille with Efficiency) is an income-qualified weatherization initiative designed to assist customers who need support. If you are a Pend Oreille PUD customer who meets income eligibility requirements and have a home that may benefit from weatherization improvements, this program may be right for you.
Eligibility is limited to existing single-family and manufactured homes within Pend Oreille PUD’s service area that are electrically heated and meet qualification criteria.
Participants in the program can gain access to rebates for various weatherization projects, including:
- Insulation upgrades
- Heat pumps
- Ductless heat pumps
- Smart thermostats
- Duct sealing
- Air sealing
How to Participate:
All work must be performed by contractors that have been approved by the PUD for participation in the HOPE Program.
